Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in embedded software development, ensuring high-quality software delivery within schedule constraints.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to develop strategies for new products and services.
  • Work with external software consultants to deliver on project milestones.
  • Implement software design efficiently using current programming languages and tools.
  • Participate in the full life cycle of development, from specification and design through implementation, testing, and support.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of new software design tools, software architectures, microprocessors, and algorithms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong debugging techniques and experience in using a debugger and ICE.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality software engineering principles and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in multitasking in RTOS, real-time software design, and development.
  • Experience in Source Control Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or PhD in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in using UML.
  • Knowledgeable on device driver and low-level device interface design and development.
  • Knowledge of microprocessor architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in communications design and testing using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, and TCP/IP.
