Job Summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LMC Cayce Urgent Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing the physical and psychosocial status of patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status through interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis and treatment of common acute illnesses and prevention and maintenance of health care for patients with stable chronic illnesses
  • Perform interim physical examinations for healthy patients within prescribed guidelines
  • Document all situations, both internally and externally, that may arise out of the ordinary or are necessary to maintain accurate patient charts/records
Requirements
  • Current licensure as RN in the State of South Carolina
  • Obtains and maintains certification by appropriate credentialing organization recognized by South Carolina as Nurse Practitioner
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
