Position Overview:
Collaborates closely with the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager to facilitate the smooth operation of the Cash Room. Accountable for maintaining precise records of all Cash Room transactions. Proactively addresses and informs management about discrepancies, debits, and returned checks. Oversees the distribution of cash during register openings and the collection of cash at closing.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivers friendly, efficient, and professional service to customers.
Ensures adherence to established policies and operational procedures.
Guarantees that the Cash Room and key storage are secured at all times, with funds kept safe.

Maintains comprehensive records of financial transactions, including safe counts, toll vouchers, coupons, returned checks, coin orders, petty cash, IOUs, and key inventory.

Ensures daily business operations are accurately closed and balanced.
Follows established protocols for armored vehicle pickups.
Inputs data, such as returned check fees, into proprietary software systems.
Monitors the bank's website daily to track returned checks and debits (cash or check shortages).
Reviews weekly communications from the bank regarding credit inquiries.

Processes cashiers' transactions at the end of each shift, documenting discrepancies and providing corrective feedback for issues exceeding policy limits.

Maintains employee break schedules.

Additional Duties:
Performs other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries from managers, staff, and customers.
Proficient in calculating figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, and proportions.
Strong oral and written communication abilities.
Commitment to company values and a strong customer service orientation.

Work Environment:
Typically, the ambient temperature will be moderate.

The role involves sitting, standing, and walking – must be capable of sitting, standing, or walking for up to 4 hours without a break.

The pace of work is determined by customer activity levels.
Industrial vehicles (such as forklifts) may be in operation throughout the area.
