Insight Global is seeking a Test Engineer who will focus on implementing cost-reduction strategies related to new product development initiatives. This role involves collaboration with teams in Magnetics, Mechanical, Electrical, and Procurement to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities. The selected candidate will receive new components and equipment from the procurement department, design test scenarios, analyze outcomes, and assess which products deliver the best performance while minimizing costs. A strong capability to analyze and validate results is crucial for transitioning products to production. Candidates should possess a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, enabling them to effectively evaluate new products, tools, or software aimed at cost efficiency. The majority of the work will be conducted in an office environment (80-90%), with occasional tasks performed on the manufacturing floor (10-20%).
