Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, architects, and other relevant capabilities and stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, and user behavior to inform product development strategies.
- Partner with the business to capture, analyze, and document functional and data requirements to design solutions and develop analytics outcomes.
- Ensure quality of product releases and deliverables through execution of risk mitigation strategies, including creation of test automation scripts, creation and execution of test cases, and regression testing.
- Leverage problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Work across the organization to ensure we capture and fix data quality issues that are found in our core applications.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills through effectively highlighting to business partners and IT teams on status, risks, and roadblocks, and aiding team members in overcoming obstacles.
- Create and optimize queries for data retrieval using Cypher, SQL, and VQL.
- Assist in data management tasks, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
Requirements
- Experience working in a cross-functional IT team to solve business problems.
- Experience partnering with business users and customers to create acceptance criteria, user stories, functional, and technical requirements for IT team members.
- Experience using query languages (Cypher, SQL, or VQL) to extract, analyze, and test data quality.
- 2+ years' experience in an IT product development-focused role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and supporting business analytics applications such as Power BI, Excel, MS Access, or other data visualization platforms.
- Experience with AWS technologies including S3, Redshift, Lambda.
- Experience with data and analytics prototyping/experimentation and ad-hoc analytics.
- Experience with Denodo.
- Experience with Neo4J Graph Databases.
- Experience with data modeling.
- Experience working within Agile teams and DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools.
Compensation and Benefits
We anticipate paying $70,000 - $110,000 per year. This role may be eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
