Job SummaryWe are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist to provide high-quality patient care in our hospital-based cancer center. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient services, including chemotherapy administration, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Provide medical oncology services to patients in our hospital-based cancer center
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in tumor boards and other multidisciplinary teams
- Order tests and images as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
- Current BLS certification
- Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
