Job Overview

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises by conducting regular patrols and monitoring activities. This role involves:

  • Conducting Foot Patrols: Regularly patrol the perimeter of the property to identify and report any suspicious activities.
  • Building Security: Lock and check buildings at designated times to maintain security.
  • Emergency Coordination: Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during medical or criminal incidents occurring on the property.
  • Activity Reporting: Prepare daily reports documenting all activities and incidents.
  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and comply with the State of Arkansas regulations for Private/Commissioned Security Officers.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test is mandatory.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to climb stairs or ladders during patrols, and to sit, stand, and walk for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Weight Handling: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds without assistance.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of both hands and arms for various tasks, including handling equipment and using communication devices.

This position is essential for maintaining a secure environment and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the property.
