We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $51.75 - $69.61 hourly (pay dependent on experience) and opportunities for professional growth and development.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, and be comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
A minimum of two years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assist in the management of trauma patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly used in the course of practice.
- Eligibility to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
