Job Overview

As a Nurse Manager in our Operating Room, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of patient care within an assigned unit. You will work closely with nursing personnel to guide and direct their activities, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation of the nursing regimen.

You will also assist the Head Nurse in evaluating and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care. Your expertise and leadership skills will play a critical role in shaping the future of our hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing regimen for assigned patients and others within the unit.
  • Conduct conferences to develop nursing care plans and promote staff development.
  • Perform other professional nursing activities as delegated by nursing service administration.

Requirements

  • A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Holds or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Six months of experience as a registered nurse.

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on location and qualifications.
