We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team in Presque Isle, ME. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams and provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:
  • Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams.
  • Capture responses during the exam through web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically.
  • Standard exams include musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory examinations.

Ancillaries such as X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, and ABIs may be ordered and conducted on location or nearby.

About the Role:
  • This is a part-time position, paid bi-weekly, with a competitive financial package including a 401(k) Plan.
  • The schedule is Wednesdays & Thursdays 8am-4pm.
  • As a Medical Professional, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, utilizing your skills and experience to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements:
  • An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • Physician Assistants must hold an active NCCPA certification.
  • A master's degree or completion of an approved Physician Assistant Program.
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Good interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Full vaccination per CDC and state guidelines.
Salary and Benefits:
