Position Overview:

McDonald's Treasury is committed to driving business growth and enhancing stakeholder value by delivering exceptional global financial leadership and expertise. The Treasury team acts as trusted partners, safeguarding the McDonald's brand by optimizing access to capital and liquidity, protecting company assets, managing financial risks, and offering financial guidance to facilitate informed decision-making.

We are looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Global Treasury Team. Reporting to the Director of Treasury Operations, this role will collaborate across departments with Global Funding.

The position involves supporting international cash pooling, global cash positioning and forecasting, bank account management, and other essential activities that contribute to global treasury operations.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Manage and support treasury, global banking, and liquidity management across various subjects, including international cash management, transaction execution, treasury systems, internal controls, and reporting.

2. Optimize cash held by international entities, analyze cash positions and liquidity pools, and provide recommendations for enhancements.3. Assist in executing, tracking, and reporting the repatriation plan, collaborating with subsidiaries, tax, legal, and accounting teams.4. Maintain relationships with internal and external global partners, including banks and finance contacts.5. Generate and update monthly reports such as Cash Forecast, IC Loan, and Bank Fees.6. Support the management of the intercompany lending portfolio and global cash pooling activities, advising the Treasury Operations team on cash flow projections.7. Monitor intercompany interest calculations, payment activities, and aging schedules.8. Assist with foreign exchange trades and payments.9. Manage global bank accounts, perform treasury management system administration, and resolve treasury-related issues.10. Facilitate the opening and closing of bank accounts and updates to authorized signers as necessary.11. Manage requests for international Letters of Credit and maintain original documents.12. Support global banking partners, local finance teams, and audit requests to ensure compliance with SOX, FBAR, and treasury regulations.13. Provide analysis and reporting support to the cash management team and act as a backup when needed.14. Address ad hoc treasury requests as required.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, or Accounting.
2. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate cross-functionally.
3. Strong understanding of corporate and international financial management principles.
4. Critical thinking skills with the ability to assess the broader implications of actions and processes.
5. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, and quick to learn new software applications.
7. Experience with treasury management systems and various banking platforms.
8. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CTP, CPA, or MBA is a plus.
