Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Plantation Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the clinical condition and determining the nursing care requirements of residents in an assigned unit. This includes assigning, supervising, and directing the delivery of nursing care by non-professional workers, according to physician's orders and established policies and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the clinical condition and determine the nursing care requirements of residents in an assigned unit.

  • Carry out hygienic, comfort, and safety measures, as well as administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in weekly Resident Care Plan meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise and direct the performance of aides and orderlies, and respond to their complaints or suggestions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and be available for on-call duties as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical stamina and emotional maturity, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
Working Conditions:

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations is essential.

The Registered Nurse will be required to stand, walk, and lift patients, as well as work in a variety of environments, including inside and outside, with exposure to heat, cold, wet, and humid conditions.

The Registered Nurse will be expected to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment, and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
