Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Net2Source Inc. in Everett, WA. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, maintains, and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Leads performance, integration, and analysis of tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Manages supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
  • Assists with investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in design engineering.
  • Experience with Catia and layouts, drawings.
  • Experience with structures with airlines, commercial structures.
  • Ability to lead and mentor other people on the team.
  • Commercial Airplane Structures Fuselage/Wing experience and layout experience.
  • Design integration experience working with suppliers and global partners.
  • 100% onsite in Everett, WA.
  • Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
  • MUST have one of the following degrees: BS/MS Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil.
