Position Overview:
This role involves providing general anesthesia services within a medical facility. The position requires 24-hour coverage, consisting of an 8-hour shift in the operating room followed by on-call responsibilities.

Call Schedule:
Due to the nature of the facility, which operates as a Level 2 trauma center, the average callback hours can be unpredictable.

Preferred Availability:
The ideal schedule for locum tenens includes:
- Friday: OR from 07:00 to 15:00, 1st Call from 15:00 to 07:00
- Saturday: OR from 07:00 to 11:00 (may extend based on patient volume), 1st Call from 11:00 to 07:00
- Sunday: OR from 07:00 to 11:00 (may extend based on patient volume), 1st Call from 11:00 to 07:00

In addition to weekend coverage, additional dates are required for coverage.

Facility Information:
The position is based in a healthcare setting that emphasizes quality patient care.

Clinical Responsibilities:
The primary duty is to administer general anesthesia.

Not applicable for this position.

Required Skills and Certifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
- State License or IMLC
- Additional certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP
- Clean malpractice history preferred.

Electronic Medical Records:
Familiarity with Epic is preferred but not mandatory.

Reason for Coverage:
This position is available due to a transition within the current medical staff.
