Optician Assistant

As an Optician Assistant at Walmart, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional member service by acknowledging and assisting members with their purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and promoting the company's products and services. You will also be responsible for maintaining the sales floor in the optical area, receiving and stocking merchandise, and operating hardware such as cash registers or related equipment.

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Maintain the sales floor in the optical area by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and arranging and organizing merchandise.
• Receive and stock merchandise in the optical area and organize and maintain the area by following company procedures.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment and process member purchases.
• Sell optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, and completing eyewear/contact lens orders.
