Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective infection prevention strategies to minimize healthcare-associated infections.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless execution of infection control protocols.
  • Design and deliver educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills in infection prevention.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff adherence to infection control policies.
  • Participate in the development of individualized patient care plans in conjunction with allied health team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in infection prevention and control.
  • Strong nursing management skills with a focus on team leadership.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.
  • Background check clearance.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in wound care and/or infection prevention.
