Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifepoint Rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and achieve their full potential. Your expertise will be essential in developing specialized treatment plans, communicating patient progress, and documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate Patient Progress
    • Communicate patient progress to supervisors, team members, and family members
    • Provide education and training to patients and their families on follow-through programs
  • Document Patient Care
    • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition
  • Compliance and Quality
    • Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
