Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Dayton Children's Hospital, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages. This part-time position requires minimal supervision and a strong commitment to quality parameters. You will work closely with other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care for individual patients. Key responsibilities include:

Producing diagnostic images using all available equipment, including EKG and patient registration
Providing services at times that meet the needs of the department's customers
Performing tasks with minimal supervision and adhering to quality parameters
Educating patients and their parents regarding procedures performed within the center
Maintaining educational requirements, including CPR, Ohio licensure, ARRT registration, and hospital-wide Mandatory Education

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
High School diploma or equivalent
CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Radiologic licensure from the Ohio Department of Health
ARRT registration

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to cover all DCH imaging locations as needed and participate in holiday and weekend rotations.
