Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Writer III to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our Technical Publications department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation for our aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain technical documentation for aircraft systems, including maintenance procedures and technical manuals.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical procedures and processes.
  4. Provide training and support to internal customers on complex system operation and technical publications software.
  5. Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce department costs and increase productivity.
  6. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of department styles, standards, and operating procedures.
Requirements
  1. Extensive knowledge of aircraft system methodology and technical writing principles.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  3. Ability to read and interpret engineering data, with experience with 3-D data a plus.
  4. Thorough knowledge of aircraft/hand tools, test equipment, and maintenance procedures.
