About the Career

This role is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain the physical plant and associated equipment in proper operating condition. This includes minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs, as well as other duties related to maintenance. The successful candidate will have the ability to read and interpret documents such as O&M manuals, blueprints, and safety rules, and will have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of plumbing experience
  • Master/Journeyman and contractor plumbing license
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of fire alarm and other systems throughout the hospital
  • Ability to maintain tools and equipment, including specialized HVACR equipment
