The anticipated salary range for this position is $123,300 to $137,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
To assume a leadership role in overseeing laboratory operations and projects. Provide guidance and mentorship for all laboratory functions. Ensure the maintenance of Chemistry analytical and radioanalytical programs, including adherence to all quality and regulatory standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supervise Chemistry Technicians and Chemists, which includes providing coaching and mentorship, reinforcing fundamental practices, scheduling, and maintaining documentation.
Lead and support Chemistry-related initiatives.
Facilitate and participate in the training program.
Oversee all sampling systems and the associated data management system.
Assist in managing the Chemistry budget.
Engage in GSEP rotation and be available for call-outs as necessary to support operational requirements.
Ensure safe and reliable laboratory operations while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Assessment Center Qualification
Achieved Chemistry Technician qualification with a minimum of 5 years in the field or possess a 4-year technical degree along with 5 years of relevant experience outside of plant operations.
