Key Responsibilities:
  • Process new prescriptions and refill requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient information.
  • Count and fill prescription medications, attach labels, and verify information with the pharmacist.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients at the point of sale, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations governing pharmacy operations, maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Restock shelves, check inventory for outdated medications, and prepare prescription orders for shipment.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide quality care and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician or Registered Technician certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in pharmacy or related field, preferably in outpatient clinic pharmacy services or retail pharmacy.
  • Flexibility to work different schedules and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
