Position Overview: Charge Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and comprehensive nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are prioritized.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to personalized care plans.
- Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to create and execute tailored care plans that reflect each resident's unique needs and preferences.
- Monitor residents' health conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments, promptly communicating any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Encourage a nurturing and supportive environment for residents and their families, emphasizing dignity, respect, and independence.
- Valid LPN license in Georgia.
- Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings is preferred, with at least one year of experience being advantageous.
- Proficient in administering medications.
- A strong commitment to serving elderly and vulnerable populations with empathy and compassion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with residents, families, and colleagues.
