Job Title: Health Center Manager RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Center Manager RN to join our team in Mt. Vernon, IN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our health center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and managing a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall management of a medium-sized health center, including staff supervision, patient care, and technical expertise.
  • Manage technical team leaders and monitor daily operational processes for medical leaders and providers.
  • Compile input for performance appraisals and make recommendations for staff development and performance management.
  • Interview, train, and onboard new colleagues, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
  • Manage daily operations, workflow, work schedules, and timecard monitoring to ensure efficient and effective health center performance.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and present resolutions and recommendations to the Director, Client Operations.
  • Understand and comply with all regulatory, procedural, policy, and licensing requirements.
  • Complete incident reports as needed and provide assistance to the Medical Care and Outcomes department regarding investigations and complaint resolution.
  • Communicate and coordinate corporate messages, ensuring implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Coach and provide feedback to staff on a regular basis.
  • Manage internal budgets, review expenses, purchase supplies, and inventory equipment and medication as needed.
  • Assist in identifying and scheduling local per diems.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Leader at the site to manage internal site issues.
  • Communicate regularly with staff, conduct meetings, and keep staff informed.
  • Act as the health center's infection control lead and collaborate with the corporate Director of Quality and Infection Control Officer.
  • May interact with client representatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Current license as a LPN/LVN, RN, or NP/PA in the practicing state.
  • Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
  • Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in the medical field.
  • 3 years' management experience.
Preferred Experience:
  • Excellent computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing, etc.).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Training skills preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
