At TEKsystems, we are currently seeking a skilled Senior Electronic Systems Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and maintaining/repairing security alarm and electronic video wiring and equipment in accordance with relevant codes.

About the Role:

  • You will apply high-quality techniques to ensure exceptional results.
  • Meet or exceed production requirements to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain the appropriate level and quality of tools necessary for the job.
  • Attend all required seminars and classes to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Reduce material and time waste by optimizing processes and workflows.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install or repair security systems, alarm devices, or related equipment for residential and commercial properties.
  • Install or repair enterprise-level electronic video components and wiring for residential and commercial properties.
  • Install or repair basic card access control components and wiring for commercial properties.
  • Follow blueprints of electrical layouts, residential layouts, and building plans to ensure accurate installation.
  • Install or repair audio and visual smart devices, such as remote access locks, security cameras, and smart burglar alarms.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • You must provide and maintain all licenses, permits, or technical qualifications required by governmental agencies to fulfill the duties of this position.
  • Respond to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety/security concerns.
  • D diagnosed and troubleshoot equipment problems through various troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain a neat and accurate inventory of tools and equipment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must drive own vehicle and be reimbursed for mileage.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with people at their homes and business owners.
  • The successful candidate must be based in Metro Toledo, OH, serving both commercial and residential territories.
