We are seeking a Clinical Informatics Director to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced physician leader to shape the future of healthcare technology and drive innovation in clinical informatics.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Informatics Director will be responsible for providing clinical leadership with the design, implementation, adoption, and meaningful use of our advanced health information technology platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, experience in EHR management, and a proven track record of driving organizational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership in the development, integration, and use of our organization's systems.
- Participate in governance, planning, and prioritizing of projects in support of clinical and business needs.
- Work closely with analysts and clinical IS&T staff to provide valuable insights on data collected from customers.
- Manage strategic partnerships with key institutions.
- Build relationships with potential customers to gain support of IT initiatives.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree required.
- Board certification in Medical Informatics or other equivalent education and work experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical work experience as an attending physician, with at least 3 years of demonstrated incremental leadership experience in the areas of EHR management and informatics.
Salary Range:$250,000 - $350,000 per year
