Job Summary

Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a CDL Rear Load Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a rear load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites or recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear load truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal sites or recycling facilities.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Ability to read and understand a map.
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including prolonged sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions

The CDL Rear Load Driver will be exposed to various working conditions, including high traffic areas, tight driving spaces, and residential and commercial waste. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
