As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring the highest level of safety and comfort for our patients.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- TCAR and PCAR certifications within 12 months of hire.
- Academic bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
- Acute care and/or previous clinical nursing experience.
