Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at JACKMONT HOSPITALITY INC.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting unique cocktails and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ID Guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area.
  • Prepare and serve drinks to Guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide a personal touch to repeat Guests by learning their names and favorite drinks.
  • Coordinate food orders from Guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen.
  • Learn the menu and make recommendations to Guests when appropriate.
  • Upsell Guests on food or drink items where possible.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized.
  • Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system.

Requirements:

  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
  • Must be able to operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions.
  • Must be able to calmly respond to angry Guests and notify a Manager.
  • Must be able to pass bar validation.
  • Must be able to respond clearly to Guests' requests.
  • Must be able to hear well in a loud environment.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry short distances, up or down stairs.
  • Must be able to pass the 10-year federal background check (TSA).
