Job Summary:

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Primary Care Mental Health Care Integration Program, you will work closely with Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Care Manager colleagues to provide comprehensive psychological services to patients in our network primary care practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic evaluations, psychological interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to patients in our primary care clinics.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other empirically supported clinical interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide clinical supervision and training to Psychology Residents, Psychiatry Residents, and medical students.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives to promote cultural humility and a sense of belonging for all individuals and communities served.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of internship from an APA-accredited program.
  • At least 1 year of postdoctoral fellowship or comparable experience in a health psychology, primary care mental health, and/or consultation-liaison psychology setting.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, with a strong working knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other empirically supported clinical interventions.
