Job Title: Baker

At Paris Baguette, we're on a mission to bring expertly crafted baked goods and a warm, welcoming experience to our customers. As a Baker, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fry donuts, place toppings, and decorate pastries and bread to perfection
  • Carry out kitchen operations and productions with precision and attention to detail
  • Bake recipes and prepare all desserts to meet our high standards
  • Perform general oven duties, including checking dough conditioner
  • Prepare all necessary materials and ingredients for baking
  • Scale and shape breads, loaves, and pastries with ease
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitization procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on production methods and organization of bread production
  • Prioritize tasks and complete daily baking assignments efficiently
  • Ensure the workplace is safe and hygienic for all employees and guests
  • Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas
  • Inform supervisors of equipment issues and manage food supplies effectively
  • Complete production, usage, and waste reports for records
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of food producing processes, sanitization, and quality programs
  • Understanding of food producing techniques, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practices
  • Familiarity with food safety, food labeling, and nutrition-related knowledge (including FDA regulations)
  • Confectionery or Foods major preferred
  • Food Handler's Certificate, preferred
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Team player with a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment
  • Excellent knowledge of and commitment to Paris Baguette's Mission, Vision, Brand Values, and Culture
