Job Summary

Avera Sister James Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, developing meaningful relationships, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication administration, vital signs, and other medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation, ensuring individualized care plans are met.
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire.
  • Med Aide certification required if eligible. High School Diploma or GED required for Med Aide.
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:30pm; 72hrs/2wks.
  • Every third weekend.
  • Every third holiday.
Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $24.00 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
