About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team at Evolve Senior Living. As a key member of our Plant Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Assist the Director of Plant Operations with capital expenditure projects, including setting up contractors and following up on projects.
  • Prepare residents' rooms for moving in and conduct maintenance, service, and repairs in various areas, including carpentry, painting, plastering, and machine servicing.
  • Communicate capital expenditure project updates to the Executive Director and Support Center as needed.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, including toilets, urinals, and sinks.
  • Manage routine maintenance and repairs, and perform other duties consistent with the position or as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.
  • Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity.
  • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building.
  • Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
  • Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.
