Role Summary: We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for our Northfield Office. Candidates with no prior experience but a keen interest in healthcare, teamwork experience, and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule: Full-time, requiring 30+ hours per week. Availability is needed Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, covering hours from 10 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. Flexibility to assist in a collaborative team setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage all incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and online inquiries, ensuring a positive experience for each caller.
- Foster a professional and welcoming environment to enhance the quality of service and care provided to patients and their respective providers.
- Understand the flow of patients to providers and anticipate the next steps in the process.
- Handle inventory responsibilities and restock supplies and equipment as needed.
- Participate in all in-house training and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience as a Medical Receptionist.
- Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
- Exceptional patient relations and customer service abilities.
- Professionalism, reliability, and dedication are required.
- Prior experience in a dermatology or medical setting is preferred.
- Open availability for weekday and weekend shifts is necessary.
