Position Overview

As a key member of the Country Finance Americas division, you will assume the role of a financial controller, overseeing various legal entities. This position encompasses a blend of delivery responsibilities, process ownership, and talent management within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:
  • Preparing and reviewing balance sheet analyses and legal entity summaries.
  • Managing cash settlements for intercompany balances and foreign exchange risks.
  • Conducting compliance activities and preparing comprehensive financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Overseeing the reconciliation of balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness of ledger data for reporting and tax purposes.
  • Identifying and resolving issues to enhance existing processes and controls.
  • Managing regulatory and tax reporting submissions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A postgraduate accounting qualification, preferably CA or CPA.
  • 6-7 years of experience in Financial Accounting, including potential public accounting experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with a strong control mindset.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
