Job Overview

At TRAINING & RESEARCH FOUNDATION, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Teacher to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to make a positive impact in the lives of infants and toddlers.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the Creative Curriculum and CDE Standards, preparing lesson plans, documenting activities, and ensuring the classroom is safe and sanitary.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in Lesson Planning: Work with the lead teacher to plan and implement engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the needs and interests of the children.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning and play.
  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with parents through regular updates and communication.
  • Documentation: Accurately record observations, activities, and child progress.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of 12 Units in Early Childhood Education, including 3 Units in Infant/Toddler and an Assistant Teacher Permit issued from CCTC.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with Infants and Toddlers ages Birth-36 Months.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read, write, and communicate using proper English grammar.
