We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing essential support and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- Associate degree or vocational certification in Surgical Technology.
- 1+ year of experience in a perioperative or operating room setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
