Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound devices, to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for procedures, using independent judgment and initiative to ensure optimal results.
  • Participate in interventional procedures, including catheterizations and biopsies, under the guidance of attending physicians.
  • Maintain aseptic conditions and follow infection control policies to ensure patient safety.
  • Support physician staff in handling and management of labs and specimens obtained during procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking and replenishing supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Radiography RT license in the state of MA
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiography experience (preferred)
