Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's property, including common areas, staircases, and elevators. You will also assist patrons and customers in a friendly and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, staircases, and elevators
  • Restock paper products in public restrooms and ensure the highest level of cleanliness
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain common surfaces
  • Comminute building needs or issues
  • Service specific tenant spaces, including trash bags, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certain positions may require a background investigation and a drug screen
  • Effective communication skills and ability to assist others in a friendly and engaging manner
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks

Working Conditions

You will work in various environments, including cold weather, rain, snow, or heat, for extended periods. You must be able to operate various cleaning equipment and machinery, including scrubbers, pressure washers, and carpet extractors. You will also be required to climb ladders, stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods, and lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
