Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our ICU team. As a member of our team, you will work closely with Attending physicians to provide comprehensive medical and surgical management for critical-care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with Attending physicians.
- Perform advanced skills of airway management, including endotracheal intubations using direct laryngoscopy and video assisted laryngoscopy.
- Manage the care of critically ill or injured adult patients in collaboration with the intensivist physician on duty (or on-call).
- Partner with Attending physicians and Respiratory Therapists to manage ventilator, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation, and high-flow modalities.
- Perform invasive procedures, including central lines, peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC lines), mid-lines, arterial lines, tube thoracostomy, dialysis catheters, cooling catheters, and urinary catheters as indicated.
Education and Experience:
- Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.
- Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.
Estimated Salary: $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
