Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and track inventory data using computer systems or handheld devices.
  • Document any discrepancies between inventory records and actual stock counts.
  • Receive, count, and verify outgoing orders with precision.
  • Label stock items accurately using labeling equipment.
  • Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms, storage yards, or warehouses.
  • Safely operate forklifts to move stock items around.
  • Process shipping requests, requisitions, and purchase orders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience driving a forklift or the eagerness to learn.
  • At least six months of experience in stocking, shipping, logistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for 8-10 hours a day and lift items up to 50 pounds regularly.
