Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a skilled Outpatient Assessment Clinician to join our team. As a mental health professional, you will provide individual and group counseling services to adults in recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices and promoting the recovery model of treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide services identified in treatment/recovery/safety plans, primarily individual and group counseling.
- Use evidence-based practices, including CRA, to promote recovery and wellness.
- Provide education on mental health and substance use to encourage family involvement.
- Promote the recovery model of treatment, including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience.
- Willingness to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training.
- Basic computer skills and experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.
