Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Griffin Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective care to patients in the operating room, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education, promoting patient understanding and empowerment.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, fostering open communication and respect among colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Current CT RN license required.
- One year of Operating Room nursing experience or completion of a perioperative training program.
- CNOR certification preferred.
