About the Role:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating treatment plans, and setting therapeutic goals. This role involves active participation in patient care within the Occupational Therapy framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting evaluations of assigned patients and developing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive data sources.
  • Implementing treatment according to established plans and adjusting as necessary to meet patient needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to therapy assistants and students as needed.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. A minimum of one year of experience in the field is required, with a preference for candidates with home health experience. A valid Occupational Therapist license in the State of Alaska is mandatory upon hire, along with Basic Life Support certification.
