Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Decision Unit team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care, fostering a patient-centered approach and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide direct care to assigned patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and research to inform your decisions.
  • Delegate tasks to members of the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor quality of care delivered and identify opportunities for quality improvement, incorporating performance indicators to inform your practice.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to educate them on their care, promoting empowerment and self-management.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse; or successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
