Clinical Immunohematology Professor

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College invites applications for a Clinical Immunohematology Professor. This position includes teaching responsibilities for lectures and laboratories in Immunohematology courses in the Medical Laboratory Technology Program. The successful candidate will work well with others as a team member to achieve shared vision and goals for the Cincinnati State Medical Laboratory Technology Program.

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, facilitating classroom discussions and encouraging student participation.
• Determine materials needed, prepare specimens, and facilitate student laboratories in Immunohematology courses.
• Evaluate student performance, assigning grades according to program standards, and challenge students to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse professional, community, and student population. A minimum of two years of recent work experience in a clinical Immunohematology laboratory is required. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) or a Bachelor's degree from a NAACLS accredited MLT program is preferred.
