Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
- Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop effective treatment plans to improve their functional capacity.
- Administer various forms of therapy, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions, to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in rehabilitation therapy.
Requirements:
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure within the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
