Maintenance Technician

Bull Moose Tube is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Gerald, MO. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including mills, slitters, and tool room equipment.
2. Inspect and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
3. Operate and maintain a variety of hand and portable power tools, as well as machine shop tools.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operation of all plant functions.

Requirements:

1. At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
2. Associate degree or certificate in industrial maintenance, or at least 4 years of relevant maintenance experience.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to read shop signs and instructions.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, rebuilding gear boxes, bearings, and conveyor systems.
5. Demonstrated experience and proficiency in operating a variety of hand and portable power tools as well as machine shop tools.
