Clinical Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinician I, Wraparound to join our team at Stanford Sierra Youth & Families. As a Clinician I, Wraparound, you will provide comprehensive, strength-based, culturally competent, flexible, effective, quality mental health services to eligible at-risk children, youth, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapeutic interventions, to eligible at-risk children, youth, and families.
- Work with children and youth involved in the child welfare and Juvenile Justice systems, meeting all County requirements.
- Provide services to assigned children, youth, and families in the home, office, school, or other community-based settings.
- Arrange for safe transportation for youth and families to services as needed.
- Ensure all clinical records are current and accurate, meeting organization and County timelines for submission.
- Document all Medi-Cal eligible services provided, including assessment, plan development, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral, rehabilitation, IHBS, ICC, case management, ICC-CFTs, and crisis intervention.
- Complete Intake, Core Assessment, Mid-Assessment, and Discharge packets for assigned clients, meeting expected timelines.
- Provide referrals and resources to children, adults, and families, and act as a liaison between child/family, assigned treatment team, and external organizations.
- Utilize Evidence-Based Practices whenever possible, if clinically indicated.
- Ensure every assigned family has an individualized safety plan that maximizes the use of natural supports and community-based resources.
- Attend all internal psychiatric appointments with assigned youth and caregivers as scheduled.
- Participate in the agency's 24-hour family support on-call program.
- Participate in utilization, accreditation, peer review process as assigned.
- Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plan.
- Work collaboratively with all internal programs, departments, and staff to provide support as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with system partners, families, and providers.
Requirements:
- Masters' degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential or having registered as an Associate Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT).
- At least 1 year of experience providing services to adolescents and their families.
