About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at The Shores Resort and Spa. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Preparation: Set up banquet rooms for functions, including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces.
  • Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages to guests, remove dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables, and take them to the kitchen. Ensure that tables and counters are clean and sanitized after guests are finished.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare condiments, brew coffee, and ensure workstations are stocked. Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs.
  • Guest Interaction: Explain how various menu items are prepared, cooking methods, and ingredients. Take into consideration any special requests and dietary issues made by guests.
  • Quality Control: Ensure final quality check on food and beverage items prior to serving guests. Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality, and additional service.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information. Provide assistance to other event and restaurant staff as needed.
